This document describes the process of upgrading a node from Centos 7 to Rocky 9.

NOTE: To smoothly transition from CentOS to Rocky 9, it is essential to upgrade your SAKA version to SAKA 4.7 or a newer release.

Prerequisites

Prepare a Rocky 9 kickstart USB by following the guide here.
Minimum number of Key Custodians required to activate the cryptographic hardware module (the Trusted Platform Module (aka TPM).
A storage device that is suitably large enough to fit the contents of the strongauth folder as well as some system files.
