The following are required to successfully complete this Objective:
- Ability to switch traffic in Load Balancer if the node being replaced is actively processing web-service requests.
- If your appliance uses the TPM, verify that the BIOS Setup has activated the TPM. The actual steps will vary based on the supplier of the BIOS on the appliance. While one manufacturer will identify the task as “Enable the TPM”, another might indicate this as “Enable embedded security”.
- Networking related files (IP address, FQDN, /etc/hosts) configured.
- Credentials for the strongauth user in the EOL appliance.
- Credentials for the root and strongauth users in the new appliance.
- Credentials for MariaDB users (such as “skles”) with access to the “strongkeylite” database in the new and EOL appliance.
- Keystore files (keycustodian#.bcfks) and passwords for minimum number of KeyCustodians to activate the appliance.
- Keystore files (#-domainadmin.bcfks) and passwords for all Domain Administrators.
- Credentials for a pinguser to verify the functionality.
- Ability to transfer files between old and new servers (either using USB flash drive or scp/sftp).
